Level 2

Level 2 is for advanced users who desire to perform highly sensitive NMR measurements using our high-field instruments. You can consult "Which Instruments to Use?" to decide which training to take.

AV-500 

AV-500 is dedicated to experiments with long durations such as variable temperature NMR, kinetics measurements, diffusion NMR, materials science applications, and solid NMR. To gain access to AV-500: 

  1. Request to attend AV-500 training session,
  2. The training session will be held in person,
  3. After the training, you will have temporary access to AV-500,
  4. AV-500 check-out will be required to maintain access beyond the training hours.

Instruments Equipped with a Prodigy cryoprobe: NEO-501 & AV-600

The NEO-501 and the AV-600 are equipped with a Prodigy Cryoprobe, which is optimized for braod-band NMR and has highest sensitivty for X-nuclei such as 13C. To gain access to these instruments:

  1. Request to attend All-purpose cryoprobe training,
  2. The training session will be held in person,
  3. After the training, you will have temporary access to AV-600, and unlimited access to the NEO-501,
  4. AV-600 check-out will be required to maintain access to the instrument beyond the training hours.

Variable Temperature NMR
